Meet the Pastor

Pastor Daniel Sattelmeier has been pastoring CrossPoint Church for the past 13 years.

After playing in rock bands, God changed his life and he felt a calling to ministry. He then completed seminary at Concordia in St. Louis, Missouri, and interned in Stockton, California. He previously pastored in Saskatchewan, Canada at Celebration Church for 20 years, starting in 1975. He has currently been pastoring for 36 years.

Pastor Dan’s passion includes leading people to experience a personal relationship with Christ and to help them grow and understand Christ’s plan for their life. He desires to see Christian marriages succeed, children being brought up in Christ’s love, and members of CrossPoint becoming leaders in their community.

Dan has been married to his wife Darlene for 33 years. They have four children who all reside in El Paso.  Josh (31) is a teacher at a local Christian school and his wife Nicki is a substitute teacher, and they are pursuing their dreams of starting their own ministry. Sarah (29) is a French teacher at a local high school and her husband Mark is currently working for an investment company. Caleb (26) is a social studies teacher at a local school high school.  Isaac (24) is a firefighter for the El Paso Fire Department and is engaged to be married in July of 2011.
